Quad-Lock manufacture panels for Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) construction which is fast, simple, strong and versatile.
The panels produce a flat, solid concrete wall which provides the customer with a constant thickness of concrete throughout the wall. It consists of a lightweight insulating concrete forming system made from EPS (expanded polystyrene) blocks which are tied together with HDPE (high-density polyethylene) ties. The system is biologically safe and will not support combustion.
The concrete is cast in place for non-bearing and bearing walls for foundations, exterior above grade walls, sound walls, retaining walls, radius walls, firewalls and commercial tilt-up buildings for the LEEDª certification program. Electricians and plumbers love the ICF system as fixtures are simply set into chases which are cut into the foam after the concrete has set.
Surface finishing couldnÕt be easier as drywall is easily attached with drywall screws or an EPS compatible adhesive and screws. Exterior Stucco is adhered directly to the foam while wood, plastic and metal cladding is simply fastened to plastic ties. Want a stone or brick finish? No problem with insulated concrete formwork.
